PhD Theses

I am an experienced PhD supervisor and examiner and have a good understanding of what makes a successful thesis. I have supervised seven PhD students to successful completion, including two non-native English language speakers, and examined 11 PhD theses.

My baseline PhD editing service includes checking, and correcting, your manuscript for the following:

• written English is clear and concise, with correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
• formatting of tables and figures, including consistency of numbering/labelling
• formatting and consistency of chapter and section headings
• providing a list of cited references (for cross-checking against your bibliography)

I also offer more advanced editing services, including advice on restructuring of sections/chapters. We work on individual chapters, or whole theses.
